- Open the article page on the Nabawi Journal website (title, abstract, and references page — not the PDF directly).
- Click the Zotero icon in your browser’s add-ons bar to save the citation automatically.
- Open Microsoft Word → Zotero tab → Add/Edit Citation → choose citation style (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.).
- Search the article title in the dialog box to insert a footnote automatically.
- To add bibliography: Zotero menu → Add/Edit Bibliography.
✧ Using Mendeley
- Install Mendeley Reference Manager and the Save to Mendeley browser extension.
- Open Mendeley to organize your saved citations.
- To add citation, you can:In Word, go to References → Insert Citation.
- Add manually: File → Add Entry Manually → fill required fields.
- Add automatically from web: Visit article page → click the Mendeley icon in your browser.
- Add automatically from the app: Use the Literature Search feature to find and import references.
- To create a formatted bibliography, choose your preferred citation style.
✧ Using ChatGPT
You can ask ChatGPT to help you generate a citation in your preferred style.
Steps:- Open the article you wish to cite by clicking its title.
- Select all and copy
- Paste the information into ChatGPT and type:
“Generate a citation for this article in Chicago 18 full note style.”
- Review and ensure it matches the official style guide (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.).
✅ Tip: Always double-check ChatGPT’s citation output for accuracy. We recommend Zotero for simplicity, or Mendeley for advanced management.
